Here’s what I have been able to gather from the Vice-Presidential Debate yesterday evening.
McCain-Palin focus:  reduce accessive government, bi-partisan, invest in American corporations to keep them here, government diligence and integrity, McCain does not always align with Bush because there are times when he has to make a stand, help “middle”/working class.

Obama-Biden focus:  middle class, invest in mainstreet–not wallstreet, more government financing health care and give-a-ways to stimulate the economy, McCain is with Bush.

At the introduction of “The Secret Life of the Brain” on the adult brain, the narrator asserted that we are not just thinking beings, “we are feeling beings that think.”  I would suggest that we are not necessarily feeling beings that think but thinking beings that feel.  Looking at it this way, our feelings are more a result of our thinking and not just the other way around–our thinking a result of our feeling.  In a society driven by emotions, we may feel as if we are emotional beings that think but I believe we are thinking beings that manifests feelings.  What we need to realize that it is not either or but both and.

I just saw the documentary titled above and had only one thought:

The real question is:  Is America Good (Enough) for Wal-mart.

You’d have to see the documentary to fully understand what I’m talking about here.  We can say that Wal-mart speeks for the consumer.  Any question or criticism should be directed to the consumers instead.  My opinion.

The Hmong practice, as with other indigenous religions, what I would refer to as animistic monotheism.

This song keeps coming to my mind over and over, again, as I work around the house today:

“Ib leeg yuav hlub ib leeg

Suavdlawg txha yuav paub.

Cov kws ntseeg sis hlub tag.

Ib leeg yuav qha ib leeg

Suavdlawg txha yuav paub.

Cov kws ntseeg sis hlub tag.”

Looking at all my thoughts here, one would conclude that I am a scatter-brain.  However, I have come to conclude that I am but a Renaissance Man–passionate about many things and dedicated to my work…a scientific thinker and scholar at heart, a futurist ahead of his time, and by no means arrogant–a jack-of-all-trade if you must.

After installing Outlook 2007, I still had the same result.  The only other option was to use an old backup copy and start agian from there.  Thank God that the last one was only 10 months before on May 10th.  I still lost some important emails from the society dialogue.

When a denomination is more cocnerned about making a name than making it to the lost, there is grave danger.
